Union County Economic Analysis

The Purpose of the Study

Union County Chamber of Commerce, through the Economic Leadership Council, commissioned a study to examine the current and future economic situation in Union County.

Wingate University Department of Business conducted the survey.

"Union County currently has an 85% to 15% ratio of residential to commercial tax base. If the county maintains the current 85% residential proportion, taxes may need to double or triple in the next 5 years. "
